Computer Science Community

The Computer Science Community, represented for instance by Experiment Developers, is usually a scientific programmer who works at a viral disease research institute. The objective of this user's work is to provide viral disease researchers with proper tools that help them conduct experiments and to find useful results regarding their field of expertise. The means that are being prepared within this Project for experiment developers include the integrated experiment planning environment that combines a set of tools to facilitate relatively easy yet powerful computer experiment planning techniques. The knowledge this type of user is expected to have concerns both the domain field of viral disease research and non-basic skills regarding programming and computing technologies. While basic computer science skills are enough to use the provided tools, more advanced knowledge will be needed in order to exploit all the advantages of the provided environment.
